2 Harihar Nagar is a 2009 Malayalam film directed, written, and produced by Lal. The film is both a sequel and a prequel to In Harihar Nagar, chronicling the story of four intimate friends Mahadevan (Mukesh), Govindan Kutty (Siddique), Appukuttan (Jagadish), and Thomas Kutty (Ashokan).

The movie begins in front of a church in 1980 when the foursome first become friends. The scene is transitioned by the quote "Thomasootty Vittodaa!".

It proceeds to introduce each of the four friends' life. Mahadevan is married with one daughter. He is a teacher. Govindan Kutty is a "businessman" whose wife works in Dubai. He is preparing to leave to Harihar Nagar just like Mahadevan and Appukuttan who is a dentist and often fights with his wife and kids (possibly twins). They are all going to Harihar Nagar for Thomasootty's wedding and preceding ceremonies.

While they meet, they come up with the idea of being 'younger' and enjoying the 10 or so days that they stay together. Reluctantly Appukuttan throws away his glasses. Mahadevan suggest that they make problems in the neighborhood because according to him, with problems come youth.

While staying at Govindan Kutty's house, they are greeted with flowers left at the doorstep with a name tag "Maya". Immediately thinking that this is their old Maya, they go to meet her. They barely miss her, but Appukuttan throws a rock and breaks her car's rear window. An anonymous woman steps out of the car. But it is not "their" Maya. They are immediately arrested. Later, "Maya" comes and gets them out of jail saying that they are her friends and didn't recognize it because she hadn't seen them in a long time. Once out, she says not to bother her anymore because of this. Maya lives right across Govindan Kutty's house. So trying to find the weakness that will draw her attention, one night Appukuttan looks over on to the window and is frightened by the sight of a ghostly figure with a "burned" face. Thomasootty is not staying with the other 3 on that night, but he arrives the next morning. Mahadevan says a sentimental story to make Maya not believe that they're here for the wrong reasons. She later comes and visits them and becomes their friend. A hilarious sequence follows, which ends in apparent tragedy when the other three see Thomaskutty being killed by a bomb.

Vandanam Malayalam Movie

Vandanam was a 1989 Malayalam movie directed by Priyadarshan. It was released following the huge success of his Chithram and starred Mohanlal and Girija.

Mohanlal plays the role of a police officer, Unnikrishnan, who is sent to track down a vicious and dangerous criminal played by Nedumudi Venu. Along with his friend (played by Mukesh), he performs surveillance on Nedumudi Venu's daughter (played by Girija) who lives in a flat with her aunt played by Sukumari, to gather details and whereabouts of her criminal father. The rest of the story is about how Unnikrishnan gets to the criminal via his daughter.

The plot of the movie was inspired on the American movie Stakeout.^{[citation needed]}

Box Office : It was a mega blockbuster in the box office by collecting 7 crore from just from Mughal theater which is situated in kodungaloor,Thrissur,Kerala. The budget was just 1 crore. This movie also brought priyadharshan fame and fortune.

Ramji Rao Speaking Malayalam Movie

Balakrishnan (Saikumar) is an unemployed youth trying to pay back his and his late father's debt to Hamsakoya (Mamukkoya), who needs money to pay for his sister's dowry. Balakrishnan loses his job opportunity to Rani (Rekha) and tries to take it back from her but later stops realizing that she has her own problems with family illnesses and poverty. Gopalakrishnan (Mukesh) is also unemployed and is trying to make his mother proud of him by saying that he has a good industrial job in Calcutta and has plans to buy a new house. Both Balakrishnan and Gopalakrishnan reside in the house of Mannar Mathai (Innocent), an artist financially unable to start a career in theater. As the three of them try to forget their problems with alcohol, a bandit named Ramji Rao (Vijayaraghavan) mistakenly calls the wrong number claiming he has kidnapped the daughter of a rich business man Uramees Thamban (Devan). Seeing an opportunity for money, the three of them come up with their own plan to impersonate the bandit and collect the ransom themselves. They planned to get the four lakhs from the father first and use part of the money to pay the ransom to Ramji Rao, get the daughter and then hand it over to the father.

However the plan goes wrong when a police officer who is family friend of Uramees Thamban gets wind of the kidnap and tries to intervene. The film ends in a chaotic climax with the Urvashi trio, Hamsokoya and his friends, Ramji Rao and his gang fights for the money and the little girl. Finally the three manages to escape with the money and hands over his daughter to Uramees Thamban. Ramji Rao and his gang are arrested. Meanwhile Gopalakrishnan is separated from the other two who believes that he ran away with the whole amount. In anger, they inform the police of their whereabouts. Soon Gopalakrishnan returns having used the money to pay off Hamsakoya and to pick up his mom. Before the heroes could act, the police arrives to arrest them. Rani arrives there as well. As the heroes are being taken away, it is strongly implied that Uramees Thamban, who is happy with the help they rendered in getting his daughter back, will help them to fight the case

Godfather Malayalam Movie

Godfather is a 1991 Malayalam film directed by Lal and Siddique. The only movie that ran continuously for 405 days (95 days in regular shows and 310 days as a noon show) in a theatre in Trivandrum as the longest running Malayalam film.

In 2004 Priyadarshan remade this film in Hindi titled as Hulchul. the film was one among the major hits of the releasing year.

The story centres around the rivalry of two families, each headed by Anjooran (N.N. Pillai) and Anappara Achamma (Philomina). Anjooran dislikes women because during the wedding of his son Balaraman (Thilakan-Anappara Achamma's husband accidentally shot his wife and killed her, thereby making him vow never to marry any of his sons again.

The youngest son, Ramabhadran (Mukesh) falls in love with Malu (Kanaka) from Achamma's family. Meanwhile Mayin Kutty (Jagadish), friend of Ramabhadran discovers that Swaminathan(Innocent) has secretly married Kochammini (KPAC Lalitha). When Anjooran discovers this he banishes Ramabhadran and Swaminathan out of his house. Ramabhadran soon discovers that Achamma plans to humiliate his family even further and set him on his father- so he makes plans with Swaminathan, Kochamani and Malu's brother (Siddique) to intervene and somehow bring things to a very happy conclusion.

A movie told in a grayish tone, the movie have the protagonist in Keshu, played by Jayasuriya. A little dumb youth, who had quit his studies earlier, he roams around without any real aim in life. A man of mystery, he is the only son of his mother and makes a living by running a photostat store. An introvert who keeps to avoid friends, he shares a special relation with Danny D'souza Sayip - an cunning Anglo Indian, from whom he occasionally borrows money. His other person of interest is rose, a north Indian girl for whom Keshu will do anything.

One day while making a repayment, he creates a Photostat of a currency and give it to Danny, who immediately realises the special calibre of Keshu in making fake currencies. And within days Keshu is forced to become an associate to Danny’s ugly business deals, by supporting him with meticulously made Photostat money.
